Commodities

Commodities are raw materials turned into finished goods that are sold to consumers. There are two main types of commodities, hard commodities and soft commodities.

Hard commodities are commodities that can be mined. Examples include gold, silver, copper and oil.
Soft commodities are commodities that cannot be mined and are often grown. Examples include coffee, cotton, sugar and more.
