After-Hours Trading

After-hours trading takes place outside of regular trading hours. In the US, typically after-hours trading happens between 07:00 – 11.00 AEDT (next day) – and provides investors with an opportunity to react to news and events that occur after the market closes. After-hours trading often happens in reaction to earning reports, which can trigger price volatility.
