Do you accept clients from the US?
Due to CFTC regulation, US traders are unable to trade with non US brokers. As we are based in Australia and strictly regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), CFTC regulations mean that Vantage is unfortunately unable to accept clients based in the US.

What liquidity providers does Vantage use?
Vantage is a true STP/ECN Forex broker. This means that we aggregate the best bid and ask prices from deep liquidity pools in the underlying FX market. How can I open a Free Vantage demo?
To open a FREE $100,000 Vantage MT4 or MT5 demo account, click the blue ‘Demo Account’ button at the top right hand corner of every page. Simply fill in your details and submit the form. You will then be able to instantly download MT4/MT5 and start learning to trade Forex.

How long does a Free Vantage demo account last?
Each Vantage MT4 demo account lasts for 30 days before your login will expire. We encourage our new traders to demo trade until they are comfortable with both the Vantage MT4 platform as well as their own trading strategy. If you require a non-expiring demo, please don’t hesitate to send us an email.

How can I open a live Forex trading account with Vantage?
To open a Vantage MT4 live account, click the red ‘Live Account’ button at the top right hand corner of every page. Complete the forms, provide the required documentation for proof of identity and once approved, your new account details will be emailed to you.

How long does it take to open a live Forex trading account with Vantage?
The online forms required for a live Forex trading account are fast and easy to complete. If you submit the accompanying required proof of identity documentation when you submit the form, you can be set up and trading within 24 hours.

What is the minimum deposit needed to open a Vantage live Forex trading account?
The minimum deposit that Vantage can accept are $200 for all Standard accounts and $1000 for RAW account. Just remember that you can open and keep a live Forex trading account with a $0 balance.

Is my Credit Card verified for deposits?

How can I withdraw funds from my Vantage MT4 trading account?
Vantage clients can withdraw funds from their account online. Simply click the button at the bottom of our withdraw page and log into the secure Vantage client portal to complete your withdrawal.

How long does it take to deposit/withdraw funds?
Vantage does everything it can to make sure our clients receive their funds the same day that they make their withdrawal request. For withdrawals received prior to 19:00 AEST (09:00 GMT), the request will be processed on the same business day.

Does Vantage charge any fees on deposits/withdrawals?
Vantage does not charge any internal fees for deposits or withdrawals. However, please note payments to and from overseas banking institutions may attract intermediary transfer fees from either party which are independent of Vantage.

What is the difference between a Standard and RAW Account?

What is the maximum leverage I can get on a Vantage live Forex trading account?
Vantage’s standard Forex leverage starts at 100:1. The maximum Forex leverage Vantage may offer is up to 500:1. This is only for approved accounts but if your trading strategy requires higher leverage, you may request a change of leverage here.

Can I change my leverage on my Vantage trading account?
Simply log-in to the secure Vantage client portal, click the ‘My Accounts’ button in the left hand menu, find the MT4 account you wish to change leverage on and click the small gear cog icon that is within the table to request a change.

Can I change my Vantage Forex trading account type between Standard and RAW?

When will I receive Account Statements?
Daily account statements will only be emailed to you on the days that your MT4 trading account has experienced trading activity. You will also receive a monthly account statement on the first day of every new month regardless of trading activity.

What is the level my account must reach to be stopped out via margin call?
Vantage will alert you via your MT5 or MT5 Terminal when the ‘Margin Level’ reaches 80%. If your Margin Level drops to 50%, then your position will be automatically closed via a margin stop out.

Can I go long and short the same market, at the same time? (Can I hedge?)
Holding both an open long and short position in the same Forex currency pair at the same time (otherwise known as hedging) is permitted on all live Vantage MT4 accounts.

What if I’ve forgotten or want to change my password?
Inside your Vantage MT4 platform, select Tools > Options, then select the Server tab and then Change. For security reasons, if you have forgotten your password, it can only be reset by the Vantage Support team. Please call or email [email protected]

How can I find my Investor Password?
Inside your Vantage MT4 platform, select Tools > Options, then select the Server tab and then Change. From here you can use your master password to create an investor password by ticking the change investors password box.

Can I use MT4 on my Mac?
Vantage has developed a unique solution for Apple users, allowing them to fully exploit the powerful capabilities of the MT4 platform on their iOS based devices. What server time does Vantage run on?
Vantage servers run on the GMT+2 time zone. This can be found in your Market Watch time on your MT4 trading platform. If you use an Expert Advisor (EA) which requires the GMT offset to be manually entered, please check that this has been completed.

Can I change the time on my Vantage MT4 Charts?
The trading platform time cannot be changed via the Vantage MetaTrader 4 (MT4) interface. If you download and install custom indicators that claim to do this, you will have problems with some platform settings as our servers will no longer line up with yours.

What is the difference between the bid and ask price?
The ‘ask’ price is that at which sellers are willing to go short a Forex currency pair. It is otherwise known as the ‘offer’. The ‘bid’ price is that at which a buyer can go long a Forex currency pair.

Does my chart show the bid or the ask price?
By default, the Vantage MetaTrader 4 platform displays the bid price. If you wish to also display the ask price, right click your chart, select ‘properties’, go to the ‘common tab’ and check the ‘show ask line’ box.

Why can’t I see all currency pairs in the Vantage MT4 Market Watch?
If you can’t see all the Forex, Commodities, Indices and Share CFDs symbols that Vantage offers in your Market Watch, they may just be hidden. Simply right click anywhere inside the Market Watch and select ‘show all’.

How do I find the latest swap rates on MT4?
Inside the Market Watch window, right click on the specific Forex currency pair you are looking for and select ‘specifications’. This will bring up all contract specifications for the Forex currency pair which includes both long and short swap rates.

Why do I get charged a higher swap rate on FX positions on a Wednesday?
This is because a swap involves pushing back the value date on the underlying futures contract and on Wednesday this date changes from Friday to Monday. Swap is therefore charged for the extra 2 weekend days.

What do I do if I see the message ‘invalid account’?
If you are seeing this message on a Live account, this means you have entered an incorrect login or password. Simply contact us and we will instantly reset your password.
If you are seeing this message on a Demo account, your 30 day license may have expired. Either move to a Live account, or contact us for a non-expiring demo account. -

What do I do if I see the message ‘trade context is busy’?
When trading in MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and the ‘Trade Context is Busy’ message appears, it generally means that it is trying to process two orders at the same time. To resolve this issue, simply close and reload your MT4 trading platform.

Can I open multiple MT4 trading accounts?
If you are an existing client and wish to create an additional MT4 account login, please complete the form on our request an additional MT4 login page. We allow for a maximum of 5 logins per client.

Can I download another Vantage MT4 platform?
If you require another Vantage MT4 platform for another computer, simply contact us and we will email you another MT4 installation file for you to use on as many different computers as you please. Remember the official MT4 WebTrader platform allows you to access your account from any web browser, anywhere, anytime.

How to speed up your MT4 platform?
We’ve recently added a variety of new products, so now you can access on over 120 trading instruments on MT4 and MT5. It’s important to remember, that depending on your computer’s processing speed, your internet connection, and the amount of charts open, you may experience some issues with the speed at which your MT4 platform operates due to the increased bandwidth required for the additional instrument data. Here are a few ways that you can minimise potential speed issues.
1. Reduce the number of open charts you have.
2. Hide any unused symbols in your Market Watch.
3. Custom Indicators / EAs
Quite often, poorly coded or resource intensive custom indicators and EAs can cause significant lagging and performance issues on your MT4/MT5 platform. Even more so when applied to numerous charts. If you are experiencing lagging or performance issues, you may need to remove custom indicators or EAs from your charts. -

Why do I need to verify my email address?
Email verification is required for us to confirm the validity of your registered email address. A valid email address is important for our future correspondence and security authentication purposes. -

What can I do if I already registered with a mistyped or invalid email address?
If you do not have a funded account yet, we recommend you register again with a valid email address.
Otherwise, you may contact us at [email protected] to request for an update of your email address. -

How do I update my registered email address to a more frequently used one?
If you have access to the registered email address, here’s how you can update your email address:
a. Log in to the Client Portal

How can I enhance the security of my accounts to provide more protection to my funds?
You may enable email address or security authenticator login by navigating to the “Password & Security” section at the Client Portal.
When login authentication is enabled, future login attempts will need to be authenticated. You may disable this setting within the same section anytime.
You can opt to receive “Change of Login Location Email Notification” under the “PASSWORD & SECURITY” tab. You will receive an email notification when suspicious login activity is detected. You can opt out of receiving these email notifications anytime. -

What are the T+1 and T+2 withdrawal limits?
If your registered email address, phone number or Security Authenticator has been changed, your account will go through a cool off period before you can make cryptocurrency or e-wallet withdrawals.

We are continuously upgrading our security measures to protect our customers’ funds. This is to reduce the risk of unauthorised fund movement. -

How do I add the Security Authenticator device?
Navigate to the “PASSWORD & SECURITY” tab in the top right corner of your Client Portal.
1. Click Enable Security Authenticator APP
2. Download Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator from your iOS or Android application store. We highly encourage you to use a trustworthy Authenticator app to ensure the safety of your account.
3. Scan the QR code shown with the camera in the Authenticator app.
4. Enter the one-time passcode (OTP) generated on your app. Please note that the OTP is only valid for 30 seconds. You are advised to enter and submit the code when the OTP is still valid.
5. Security Authenticator will be successfully added to your account once the OTP has been verified.
After the authenticator app is enabled, you will be able to perform cryptocurrency & e-wallet withdrawals, as well as enable Security Authentication for login purposes. -

What can I do if Google or Microsoft Authenticator are not available in my iOS or Android application store?
You may download WeChat and search for Google Authenticator within WeChat’s mini program interface. Mini programs refer to the small applications that function within WeChat, which would allow you to access Google Authenticator. -

How do I modify my authenticator device when I change my mobile phone?
If you still have access to your previously added authenticator device, you may navigate to “PASSWORD & SECURITY” tab and click “Modify” within the “Security Authenticator APP” section.
1. Enter and verify OTP from existing authenticator device
2. Scan QR code with Authenticator APP in your new device
3. Security Authenticator will be successfully updated once OTP has been verified. -
